I submitted a service request, now what?
After reviewing your request I will follow-up with you to schedule a free consultation using your preferred method of communication
Yes, I will gently guide you through the organizing process in a manner that is tailored specifically to you or your child's needs. I invest a lot of time before the organizing even starts to best understand the unique challenges that might arise and together we prepare a plan on how to tackle these challenges together. Some clients want a softer approach while others want to be encouraged to let things go. I respect your wants and needs and aim for the experience to be as painless and pleasant as possible.
Do you organize alone or with your client?
Both! Whatever you prefer and whichever best suits your goals. I encourage you to be as hands on or off as you want to be. In some homes I work completely independently from start to finish. In other homes my client and I work alongside one another the entire time.
What if something is broken or damaged?
While we are as careful as possible accidents can happen. Glow Up Organizing holds business insurance with Goodville Mutual Casualty Company.
I don’t want to invest in additional storage solutions, can you work with what I have?
I can certainly try. Sometimes the organizational process creates more room than you thought you had while other times it can highlight that when everything is in its place, there aren’t enough places. I am all for reduce, reuse, recycle and would rather use what you have or find something in your home to repurpose before buying new. I am a registered bidder with a Richmond based online auction company and utilize their inventory to source items in great or good condition for clients interested in gently used storage solutions.
I am out of state, will you work with me remotely or coordinate with my realtor?
Not a problem. If I can access your home I can organize your home! We will have an initial video call on site for you to walk me through the job and another upon completion to confirm all expectations have been met.
Have you already relocated and can’t get back to your recently sold home to remove items before your closing date? No worries. Demands of family and jobs as well as unexpected life events can throw a wrench in any timeline. I can tackle any lingering projects you weren’t able to get to before you needed to relocate. This includes but isn’t limited to items left to donate, final removal of everything from kitchen drawers, pantry, and refrigerator, to personal toiletries left in the bathroom.
